Visayas

Visayas is one of the three major regions of the Philippines, located in the central regions between Luzon and Mindanao. The most notable islands in the group are Panay, Samar, Leyte, Masbate, Negros, Cebo, Bohol. Cebu is the largest city in Visayas, and the 5th most populous in the country. Other notable cities include Iloilo, Bacolod, Roxas, Calbayog, Tacloban and Ormac.

The highest peak in Visayas is Mount Canlaon that almost reaches the 8,000 ft mark at 7,970 feet (2,430 meters) above sea level. It is located on the island of Negros. Other notable peaks include Mt. Madiac and Cuernos De Negros. See some highlights of our tour packages in Visayas below.
